Position Summary

The Product Growth Manager (PGM) position is responsible for stimulating growth across the full line of Greco products in Canada and North America through direct and indirect channels. The PGM will drive business growth by championing strategic market penetration, product development initiatives, and market development initiatives that will grow revenue and profitability. You’ll work closely with various departments (engineers, developers, analysts, marketers) to improve user experience, optimize the customer’s journey through our funnel, identify opportunities to improve customer acquisition and retention, and formulate a rock-solid product growth model. This position can be based out of the Greco office in Toronto, ON Canada, or remote. As a remote position the travel requirements will be 30-40%.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Vice President of Sales and Marketing to identify and prioritize strategic business growth opportunities.

  • Drive execution of agreed upon initiatives; establish and monitor KPIs to ensure objectives are obtained and ROI is realized.

  • Research code changes, construction trends and other market drivers to identify risks and opportunities.

  • Provide technical product support to sales team members.

  • Other duties as needed.

Product Development Initiatives

  • Lead New Product Development Stage-gate process

  • Lead "voice of the customer" efforts to establish criteria for a successful product

  • Create business case for product development opportunities

  • Act as the subject matter expert, providing input to engineering and marketing teams during development and commercialization of new products

  • Coordinate commercial launch of products

Market Development Initiatives

  • Develop plans for tactical execution of growth initiatives into new markets

  • Identify key stakeholders and develops the plan to reach them

  • Collaborate with marketing to create necessary tools campaigns

  • Provide education through the creation and delivery of AIA presentations, product knowledge trainings and other presentations, white papers, and resources

  • Provide training to sales team on new products and initiatives

  • Lead campaign through personal business development efforts and collaboration with Regional Sales Managers

  • Able to create innovative ways to attract new users, retain existing ones, and increase the company’s customer lifetime value.

  • Able to give effective sales presentations.

  • Able to train salespeople to bid Balco products, and other products from the EBS segment when applicable.

  • Strong organizational, time-management and prioritization skills.

  • Proficiency with MS Office suite products (Word, Excel, Power Point) and order management software, including CRM, and other industry standard software.

Experience

  • 5+ years of experience selling architectural building products is required; experience selling expansion joints is preferred; experience in Marketing and/or Project Management is preferred.

  • Experience leading a sales or marketing team to achieve sales targets is preferred.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, Construction Management, or similar field of study required. A combination of education and experience may be considered.

Other Requirements

  • This position operates in a home office environment and must have a dedicated workspace.

  • Must possess a valid driver’s license.

  • Ability to travel and ensure the best practices and stewardship of the company. Travel of 30-40% but will largely be self-initiated allowing a degree of flexibility.

  • Physical- Must be able to traverse and inspect all areas of jobsite in all types of weather; this may include walking, climbing, reaching, bending, crawling, or stretching.
